The Athletic Club of Columbus

I have a lot of couples ask about venues and instead of telling them about my favorite venues I've decided it's easier (and more fun) to show them!

One of my absolute favorite venues is The Athletic Club of Columbus. There's something about this venue that can't be described. I don't know if it's the old world elegance of this place that has me entranced... Or just the fact that it offers the perfect backdrop for wedding pictures <3

So perfect, in fact, that some couples choose to have pictures taken here even if it's not their venue! Jackie and Mitch knew that they would get gorgeous pictures here so they asked if it could be one of their stops before heading to their reception!

And one of these images even won an award! Yayayayayayyyy!

Holly & Chad didn't just want a few pictures taken here.. They knew it would be the perfect setting for their wedding reception.

If you can't tell, I'm just a little obsessed with these bay windows!

They're the perfect spot for dress pictures, the perfect place for cake cutting, and of course pictures of the new Mr & Mrs!

And I'm completely obsessed with the ballroom...

And this is the perfect place to exchange letters... Absolutely breathtaking from every angle!

The fantastic thing about this room is that even if the couple chose not to do anything extraordinary in terms of decorating, the room is already so ornate and has such a great feel to it that not a lot is necessary to create a beautiful reception area. Of course, that's not the case with Holly & Chad's wedding! They managed to fill this space with so many sophisticated details to make it truly their own.

We spent a lot of time oohing and ahhhing as we photographed these beautiful details!

And another important thing to mention... Their event coordinator Emily is AMAZING.

There's such an amazing energy about this place. It's easy to see that everyone felt it. Everyone had the best time <3
